Outreach and Communication Associate
The Coro New York Leadership Center seeks an energetic, creative, and resourceful, and highly organized Outreach and Communication Associate. The Associate will play a lead role in strategizing, planning, and managing the outreach, recruitment, and selection process for the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs and support the processes for Coro's other programs. S/he will also work closely with the Director of Outreach and Communication in the development and implementation of an enhanced strategic marketing and communications plan. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years relevant experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work well independently and as part of a team, flexibility, creativity, and a good sense of humor. Experience in non-profit and an interest in public affairs, policy, and civic leadership preferred. Basic knowledge of HTML/ website CMS, photo-editing, and newsletter software a plus.

The Coro New York Leadership Center seeks an experienced, dynamic educator/ facilitator to oversee the management of the Immigrant Civic Leadership Program (ICLP) and serve as a lead trainer. The ICLP Program Director will be responsible for designing and facilitating program sessions, developing and modifying curriculum, and managing the overall operations of ICLP. Candidates should have at least 5 years experience in teaching or training adults; experience designing and leading experiential curriculum; an understanding of New York City public affairs issues, governance, and communities; familiarity immigration policy issues at the local, state, and national level; and exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills. The ICLP Program Director is a part-time, limited-term position (20 hours per week from November through June, including one Saturday per month) with the possibility of extension. The position may also be structured on a consultancy basis.
